Walking Among The Giants Reminds Me Of How HUGE Our God Is!
We just returned from a 4 day trip with our friends Mark and Susie Helton to Humboldt County. If you did not know, Steve and I both graduated from Humboldt State University, so we were back on our old stomping grounds. The Helton's had never been to that part of California and had never seen such huge Redwood trees, so it was neat to see their reactions to these awesome trees that are so old and so amazingly large.

What continues to strike me whenever I see something like a redwood tree is that God created it! The intricate details of each branch and leaf, the overwhelming size, the important role each tree, flower, bush and even dead trees play in balancing nature so everything works together to take care of every living creature. WOW! It makes my head swim when I think about it. The amazing detail of our God! He did not have to make our Earth so interesting with brilliant colors, fascinating animals and plants and delicate balances. He did not have to do it this way, but He did so we could see how HUGE our God is in everything around us. God really speaks to me through nature and I hope these pictures help you to see our God in a new and different way.

GOD, YOU ARE SO AMAZING!
